As some of you know I'm recovering from carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand at the moment, so haven't been able to do much stamping..... or taking part in challanges. Today I took the plunge and have done this weeks Mojo Monday's challange #95, using a penny black image, basic grey papers and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Oval all set.I'm hoping to get as much crafting as possible done over the school summer holidays as they have set the date for my left hand to be done, mid...

Today I went over to my good friend Shaz's to have a play with her new stamps, inks and cardstock from Papertrey Ink. The colours were delicious........ Rasberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst and Plum Pudding. So that my youngest daughter (Heidi) wasn't left home alone again she came along, after watching a bit of TV she decided to come and join us. Here are the 2 cards that she made, the only help she had was with the background grid lines the rest was down to her...... I think she did really well.
Shoe Box Swap
Over at In love with stamping, some of the demonstrators got together for a "shoe" box swap. For those of you who are unsure of what that entails I'll explain, each of you prepares a project either a 3D one or Card, and puts in enough items (already cut to size) for every one to complete .So at the end of the day you go home with another 7 completed items all hopefully very different, well ours where no one used the same stamp set, some of the themes and colours where the same but ALL very...
Last nights class project……
Here is the project my ladies made with me last night. A mini "pizza" box filled with an assortment of cards for different occasions. I think it makes a neat gift for someone. As my ladies are fairly new to crafting I thought I would introduce them to watercolouring using the Stampin' Up ink pads and Aqua painters. We used one of the stamp sets I got in my starter kit "Fun and Fast Notes" and some designer papers that I had lying around. They really enjoyed the watercolouring saying "its very...

I knew I couldn't last the 2 weeks the doctor ordered............LOL Here is what I have come up for my ladies to do at their class this evening. Having chatted with them over the last few weeks it became clear that the men in thier lives weren't into the usual sporty things but have a passion for collecting books and liking cats. I hope they like this weeks projects. It was fun but I managed to do most of the cutting, triming and binding with my left hand, I had a little help cutting the wire....
