For today's Masculine Monday blog post I'm going to share with you the only manly card that I received in my swaps on Saturday.......by the lovely Ann (who sadly I can't link with as she doesn't have a blog) It uses the Rev up The Fun stamp set and one of the new embossing folders - Arrows Textured Impressions (which can be found on page 26 of the Spring/Summer Catalogue) I love the how Ann has done the shadow of the car moving at speed........thank you for allowing me to share your card...
Scrapbookin’ On Sunday
Here is another page using the Epic Day This and That DSP. I've "grunged" up the page by both stamping with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and by distressing the edges and sponging with inks. I then stamped the World Map stamp and carfully cut around an area so that my photo could slip in under it..and adhere it with Washi tape. Under where the photograph will be I stamped in crumb cake the Off the Grid stamp. I have left nothing down the left hand space as I want to journal there,...
So Very Grateful
When this post show's on my blog I will be at Stampin' Up!s annual Regional Event in Telford.......when Stampin' Up! demonstrators get together at events like this we like to exchange ideas and the best way to do that is by swapping cards. I chose the So Very Grateful stamp set from the Spring/Summer Catalogue and the Scallops Embossing Folder, Primrose Petal card stock and inks and this is what I came up with. Pop back next Saturday and I'll share with you the cards that I got in...
Wedding season
With the upcoming wedding season coming up (my daughter has two to attended) I thought I would make her some cards to choose from......... Here are two that I made using the Dress Up Framelits. For this first one I have just run the dress through an embossing folder and added some pearls around the neckline. On this second one I have added an extra string of pearls around the waist and added a blossom made from Simply Pressed Clay. I can't make up my mind which one I prefer, how about...
Dress makers dummy card
A little bit later than usual, here is today's blog posting using some lovely framelits from Stampin' Up! along with two stamp sets - Perfectly Penned and Everything Eleanor. I used the Natural Compostion DSP and cut out the " Dress makers dummy" shaped framelit, which I then embellished with the medium flower from one of Simply Pressed Clay molds. Can you notice the difference in their colours? one is slightly pink , I coloured as small amount with the Pink Pirouette...
