Sew Lovely
I must admit that this wasn't one of the stamp sets that took my fancy in the Mini, but having taken it out of the packet and mounting it I found my self liking it more and more......... and the matching Designer Papers are just delicous!!! I must admit that I got the idea of the little dresses from one of my downlines, its made using the Scallop Circle Punch.... One for the Men
I made this card for my Dad who's birthday it is today "Happy Birthday Dad" (so couldn't post it yesterday). This brings back memories for me as he used to have a red motorbike and would often take me out for a spin on it. This card is made using the Motorcycle stamp in the new Mini catalogue which can be found on page 30 and as you can see I've cased the card but used different colours and added some Crystal Effects to make the body of the bike shinny. A Sense of Time….
I've had this set for a little while and again hadn't shown it an Ink pad until today. I was asked by our Church Wardens to make the Vicar a card for his upcoming retirement. So I thought that this was the perfect excuse to get the set dirty!!! The background paper is from the Growing Green Designer paper collection and the sentiment is one I computer generated as I didn't have one large enough for the card as its an A4 card.
